German power metalheads Powerwolf are on one of their most successful tour to dates, and the positive reception of fans and critics is definitely well-deserved. The band are an absolute experience on a stage, combing theatrical antics with metal and hard rock flavors. Their music isn’t just brutal and aggressive, but also quite catchy and fun. Just look at the way the audience reacts to the hooks and sing-alongs, and you will immediately understand what I am talking about.
Powerwolf offered a very enthusiastic, passionate and one-of-a-kind live experience, which really highlights their knack for storytelling, catchy riffs, epic chants and more importantly, audience engagement. Interacting with the audience is really a huge part of their performances, and it definitely sets the bar higher in terms of energy.
The band puts up an event that feels more than “just” a rock show, and it is akin to a deeper theatrical experience, with plenty of beards, swords, vampires and werewolves, as the audience gets to experience the band’s concept in various ways.
