Gothic metal pioneers Lacuna Coil have finally returned to the US after several years. Though obviously, a lot of massive time gap was due to the pandemic. The Italian metal icons has always been one of the most beloved groups in the metal community and a group that US fans can never quite get enough of.
Lacuna Coil are currently touring in support of their 2019 album release, Black Anima, which also has gotten its own live EP release. The original album was also chosen for ‘Best Alternative Metal Album’ for our Best of 2019 list.
Black Anima is a fantastic album in a live setting, and after everything that has gone on with touring or lack thereof during the pandemic, it was so rewarding to finally see the songs in a live setting here in the states.
