When you see a bill featuring Kamelot, Visions of Atlantis and Evergrey, you pretty much know that you’re in for an amazing night.
What’s really special about these bands is that not only are they absolutely iconic in their own right, but they are both innovators, who always strive to push the music forward. Their attitude definitely reflects in their amazing live shows and ability to connect with the audience on a much deeper level.
Kamelot still manages to retain that classic vibe, which old-school fans love, but they undeniable brought a new sense of purpose to their music. The set featured a lot of new material, but also a decent amount of deep cuts and fan-favorites, all blending together to perfection for the joy of the band’s most die-hard fans! The band has also been having a guest vocal spot for Lauren Hart, known for her work with Once Human.
Visions of Atlantis was also a great live act. They haven been gaining a lot of momentum as of late, due to their incredible blend of great melodies and unique energy. Vocalist Clémentine Delauney is undoubtedly one of the most interesting performers in the genre today. Her stage presence is also absolutely spot on, and in the vein of artists such as Lacuna Coil, Visions of Atlantis are known for their ability to bring a catchy vibe to their sound, without compromising in terms of energy and hardness.
Their cool guitar tones are certainly a perfect example of their timeless skills and musicianship, and the band was definitely able to bring something special to the crowd.
All in all, this night of music must have been a true treat for the fans of the genre, because you really cannot go wrong when acts like theses all hit the stage together in one night.
