It’s pretty great to know that Bowling for Soup has been rocking for three decades now. Even more mind-blowing is that their album ‘A Hangover You Don’t Deserve’ is about to turn 20 this September. To mark this milestone, the band’s hit the road with a tour that’s all about celebrating this album, playing it front to back.
I caught their show at Saint Andrew’s in Detroit, MI, and it was just amazing. The energy in that place was off the charts. It felt like stepping into a time machine, but with all the excitement of seeing them for the first time. The band’s taking a breather from the tour this month, but don’t worry if you missed them. They’re revving up to hit the stage again on September 5th in Fayetteville. From there, they’ll be crisscrossing the country until just before Halloween, wrapping things up in Albuquerque, NM.
