Columbus, OH-based singer/songwriter Trae Myers has recently dropped a romantic country song, “What About You.” The song got released on December 17 under the label Legend Recordings-Nashville. Legend Recordings just signed Trae Myers and released this single with a captivating music video.

With this track, Trae Myers has reached a mountain of popularity thanks to Legend Recordings. The song reached over 100k YouTube views in just four days of its release.

The composition of “What About You” is a country song driven by popular guitar melodies and percussive arrangements. However, it accurately depicts Trae Myers’ and his music’s soul. The words of the songs also have a highly personal feel, emphasizing the artist’s passion and natural connection to the music. It feels like a perfect song to get on your knees and propose to someone you love most.

“What about you

What about me

Will this grow into a family tree

We talk for hours, stay up late

It’s always you at the end of the day.”

Additionally, the production’s various layers increase the mix’s dimensionality and give it a sense of motion while maintaining a catchy vibe. Acoustic guitars, positive vocals, and bouncy rhythms work wonderfully together.

Trae Mayers is a progressive country musician with ten years of stage performance. Participating in several high-profile events, Trae Myers is swiftly becoming a popular face in Northeast Ohio’s country music scene. Myers will continue touring in 2023, with festivals and further engagements in the pipeline.
