Punk-pop duo Dollyrots recently finished recording their seventh studio album, Daydream Explosion in Minnesota’s Pachyderm Studios with longtime producer John Fields, (known for his work with All Time Low, Switchfoot, Soul Asylum) The twosome have been known for taking a DYI approach to releasing the music, have decided to join forces with their friends and supporters at Wicked Cool Records / The Orchard for the new album release. Daydream Explosion will be out on July 12.
Preorders for the upcoming title will be available on May 17, along with that you’ll receive instant downloads of the tracks “In Your Face” and “Everything.” And fresh off of their “The Party Time Excellent Tour” the band will play a Los Angeles album release party presented by Little Steven’s Underground Garage at the Hi Hat on July 13 and have been invited to play the Vans Warped Tour 25th Anniversary Celebration at Shoreline Amphitheater. Expect more news about their late summer tour run soon.
