Street Dogs frontman Mike McColgan, has given us an update on the currents status of the bands new album, as well as some other exciting news. First, McColgan has announced a side project with Rick Barton of Continental, and Johnny Rioux. This new album is expected to be out some time later this year, with a few singles dropping before the projects formal release.
As for Street Dogs, the band has a set of new seven inch singles that will be put out occasionally throughout the year. Each single will have three or four songs that will be on vinyl and also made available on all major MP3 stores.
Street Dogs will then head into the studios this summer to record a new full length album, in which the band will be shooting for a late October release. Finally, McColgan teased a 2013 Wreck The Halls tour by saying:
It may be a good idea to have your spiked egg nog, scally cap,pit skills and singing voices ready for November and December. Just a little heads up.
