Flogging Molly has just released a new, three-song EP called ‘Til The Anarchy’s Restored via Rise Records. The EP features the previously unreleased title track and one-take performances of the band’s classic songs, “Drunken Lullabies” and “What’s Left of the Flag.”
Dave King, the band’s frontman, described the title track as a letter reaching out to a friend or neighbor in a world that feels more divided than ever. “Maybe it’s time to say hello again,” King added.
To mark the release of the EP, the band has also shared a video for “Drunken Lullabies (Live From Electrical Audio),” which showcases the high-energy atmosphere of Flogging Molly’s live performances. The footage is taken from the band’s summer shows in Manchester and Dublin, which were part of the initial wave of shows surrounding the release of their seventh studio album, Anthem.
Flogging Molly recently announced a late Spring European trek, including several festival performances, among them Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Hellfest, and both Slam Dunk Festivals.
Flogging Molly is currently on tour, with upcoming performances in Kansas City, Omaha, Boulder, and Tucson. The band will also play a St. Patrick’s Day show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
