Flogging Molly has issued an official statement via social media, revealing that frontman Dave King is currently facing a serious health challenge. The statement emphasizes that both Dave and Bridget are asking for privacy as they manage this difficult time, promising to share further updates as available.
In light of these circumstances, the band has confirmed that all performances scheduled for 2025 will be canceled. The upcoming Salty Dog Cruise set to sail in 12 days, will proceed as planned. The cruise will feature 18 bands alongside members of Flogging Molly, celebrating the cruise, and the community.

Our fearless leader, the inimitable Dave King, is currently battling a very serious health condition. Dave and Bridget ask everyone to respect their privacy at this time, we will share as we can. Any good thoughts or prayers you can send Dave’s way, he and we would appreciate it.
Unfortunately Flogging Molly will be unable to perform shows in 2025. With the Salty Dog Cruise 12 days away, the boat will sail as planned with 18 bands, and members of Flogging Molly, on board to celebrate the cruise, the community and our captain, Dave King.
