Celtic punk legends Dropkick Murphys have released a brand-new single and accompanying video, video ‘Smash Shit Up.’ The new track is available digitally and on limited edition colored vinyl paired with B-side “The Bonny,” a cover of Scottish singer-songwriter Gerry Cinnamon’s 2019 song.
Both songs are also available worldwide on all streaming platforms, and with the vinyl offered on the Dropkick Murphys webstore, as well as on the merge table of the band’s upcoming tour while supplies last.
The band will also kick off a major European tour this week starting at the Maimarkthalle on Jan 31st in Manheim, Germany, and ending at London’s prestigious Alexandra Palace on Feb 21st. Full European tour dates are below.
Meanwhile, opening acts have been announced for Dropkick Murphys’ Boston Blowout- the band’s five St. Patrick’s Day week Boston-area hometown shows, including Rancid’s Lars Frederiksen and Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols. The full list of openers appears below.
Once the band returns home to the states, the guys will head out for a handful of North American festivals including Domination Festival (Mexico City), Epicenter (Concord, NC), Welcome To Rockville (Daytona Beach, FL) and Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival (Columbus, OH).
