Southend-on-Sea, Essex based Indie Americana music collective Carousel, have released a new single titled ‘Don’t Let It Die.’ The band describes the song as being:
An open letter to creative minds. Within the lyrics, we wanted to encapsulate the feeling of being inspired but misunderstood, as many of us artists are. Equally, we felt the need to reiterate how important art is to society. It is so crucial that art plays its part in people’s lives in times of political and social struggle, that they welcome it in and find some respite within.
The new track which was released via Longcroft Recording, is now available on Spotify. The group also be hitting the road on the 25th through 28th of August, and once again in October for some UK shows.
