Pirate metal act Alestorm have announced that they will be releasing their new album curse of the crystal coconut on May 29, 2020, via Napalm Records. Pre-orders are now up via the following link.
Alestorm returns in an uncensored satirical and glorious manner, two years after the release of their previous album “No Grave But The Sea.” The folk metal pirates will be unleashing brand-new tracks full of unashamedly catchy tunes led by Capt. Christopher Bowles.
The album will feature many guest musicians such as Ally Storch of Subway To Sally, and Capt. Yarrface of Rumahoy, and Fintrolls Vreth on the track “Chomp Chomp.”
Of course, it wouldn’t be an ALESTORM album without their unique sense of humor – this, and much more, can be found on the party-smashing “Treasure Chest Party Quest” or the surprising “Zombies Ate My Party Ship”. Although the Curse of the Crystal Coconut may remain a mystery, for now, one thing is for sure – it will make you throw all the conventionalities aside and join this humorous pirate crew on their most fierce and grim journey so far!
