The high seas of heavy metal are about to get rowdier with the return of Alestorm, the notorious metal marauders. They’re charting a course to North America with the “Tour Of The Dead Marauder,” set to embark on March 19, 2024, from Cincinnati, OH. This month-long adventure promises to be a raucous journey, featuring support from Elvenking and Glyph. While the specific venues remain a mystery for now, the excitement is palpable, and tickets will be up for grabs starting this Friday, November 17, at 10:00 AM local time.
But there’s more on the horizon for Alestorm fans. Hot on the heels of the tour announcement, the band is poised to unleash their latest musical treasure, the “Voyage of the Dead Marauder” EP. Scheduled for release on March 22, 2024, through Napalm Records, this EP sails in as the follow-up to their critically acclaimed seventh studio album, “Seventh Run of a Seventh Rum.” The previous album made impressive waves, cresting at #7 on the German Album charts and reaching lofty positions on the US Current Hard Music and Top New Artist Albums charts.
For “Voyage of the Dead Marauder,” Alestorm has again joined forces with esteemed producer Lasse Lammert of LSD-Studios. Lammert, known for his collaboration with metal heavyweights like Gloryhammer and Wind Rose, has lent his expertise in producing, recording, mixing, and mastering the new EP.
In the meantime, Alestorm is not resting on their laurels, as they currently join Saltatio Mortis on their European tour. Fans are encouraged to seize their tickets promptly and keep an eye out for the upcoming singles from “Voyage of the Dead Marauder” and pre-sale information.
