The Tartan Hearts Biography:
The Tartan Hearts first set sail in 2005 after the demise of Calgary street punks No Coast Hardcore. There music could best be described as a marriage of maritime folk music mixed with the sincerity , energy and passion of punk rock. The Tartan Hearts have shared stages with the likes of The Real Mckenzies and members have done guest spots with Canada’s premier irish punk band The Mahones. They wear their Tartan Hearts on thier sleeves with every performance and leave audiences with one fist in the air and a Keith’s firmly in the other.
