The Canny Brothers Band Biography:
The Canny Brothers Band are keeping the Irish tradition alive in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. Heavily influenced by a wide variety of musical styles the CBB brings a truly unique and spirited approach to Irish music.
On their latest album, “One Drop of Whiskey” (which has gotten airplay on Sirius satellite radio on Larry Kirwan’s Celtic Crush and WFUV on Ceol na nGael), the band’s versatility is evident in original songs like “Donnelly” about the legendary Irish boxer Dan Donnelly and on their jammin’ take on the Saw Doctors classic “The Green and Red of Mayo”, among others, but the CBB is best experienced in a live setting where band, music and audience meet.
